During the months of May and June 2021, the Town and County conducted another round of public participation as we continue work on implementing the Victoria District Economic Development Strategy. This culminated in a 'What We Heard' Report, and a fourth Public Hearing on June 8th.

The Town of Smoky Lake and Smoky Lake County have adopted the Victoria District Economic Development Strategy as a long term conceptual vision. The Strategy proposes to move forward as a concept to support and develop tourism in the Smoky Lake region, focused on the key pieces of:
