Weed Inspections Beginning

Smoky Lake County Agricultural Services will be conducting weed inspections of private land beginning June 1st.

Weed Inspectors will have valid Weed Inspector ID and be in a marked Smoky Lake County vehicle. Weed inspectors will be looking for noxious and prohibited noxious weeds as regulated under the Alberta Weed Control Act.

Spraying for brush and noxious weeds in County right-of-ways will also be commencing June 1st.
