Permanent Residency for Ukrainians in Canada Support

At the February 26, 2026 Regular County Council meeting, Council received a letter supporting a program that would grant permanent resident status to Ukrainians who arrived under the Canada-Ukraine Authorization for Emergency Travel (CUAET). 

Members of the public who wish to express their support for this program are encouraged to write to their Member of Parliament. A letter template is available below that can be completed and signed before sending.
