
Elections will be held for the five (5) Councillor positions, one from each of the five (5) electoral divisions. The Chief Elected Official (otherwise known as the Reeve) is elected from amongst its members at the annual Organizational Meeting every October.

The newly elected Smoky Lake County Councillors will hold their Organizational Meeting on October 30, 2025 electing the Reeve, Deputy Reeve and appointing various committee representatives from Council. A Regular County Council meeting will immediately follow the Organizational Meeting.
