Snow Removal Reminders
Snow Removal Reminders
When clearing snow from your driveway, ensure that all snow remains on your own property.
DO NOT push snow across municipal roads, or pile snow on the shoulder or side slope of any road right of way. Instead, keep snow on your own property.
When clearing your approach and facing towards the roadway, try to move the snow on the right side of your approach so that graders can push it away.
Remember to keep your rural address sign clearly visible.
Depositing snow onto public roads is unsafe and may result in a warning and/or fine in accordance with Bylaw 1241-12: Respecting the Use of Road Right of Way.
This helps to ensure safe road conditions for all drivers and allows our snow plows and graders to clear roads effectively.
Thank you for your cooperation.
