Located just over an hour (120 km / 75 miles) northeast of Edmonton in Alberta's Lakeland, our progressive County of 2,517* residents features great opportunities for affordable country living, recreation, agriculture and development. Council Profile

Smoky Lake County Councillors are elected to a 4 year term. Elections are held every four years with the next election in 2025.

Smoky Lake County Council Meeting are held at minimum monthly, and are always open to the public.
