Canada Post Strike Notice

Due to the ongoing Canada Post strike, Smoky Lake County is currently unable to send or receive mail.

As a result:

• Natural Gas customers will not receive their monthly bill by mail.
• Property tax payments sent by mail will not be received during this time.
  
  

** Please note: Payments are still due whether or not you receive your bill in the mail. Late penalties will continue to apply. **

Here’s what you can do:
✅ Make payments in person during regular business hours (8:00 AM – 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM) at the Smoky Lake County Main Office, 4612 McDougall Drive.
✅ Use OPTION PAY or pay through your local bank.
✅ Sign up for paperless billing to receive your Natural Gas statements by email.
✅ Pick up your Natural Gas bill directly from the County Office.
