Reminder: Property taxes are due October 31, 2025.

Paying in Person?
• Property taxes can be paid in person at the Smoky Lake County Main Office during regular business hours (Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to Noon and 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM) .
• It is helpful to bring in ALL your tax notices. This ensures that no parcels get missed, which could result in penalties.

Paying on-line or at your bank?
• Ensure the processing date for your payment is on or before October 31.
• Use your Roll Number, as listed on your tax notice, as your account number.
• Be sure to choose 'Smoky Lake County Taxes' as the payee.

*PLEASE NOTE: Due to the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) strike Canada Post services are currently disrupted. This does not change penalty dates or extend payment deadlines. Property owners are still responsible to ensuring payments are made on time.
